Kukubro

Kukubro, Lindsay Poultry Breeders, is a family run chicken farm that supplies coloured broiler chicks across KZN and Eastern Cape. The business started from small beginnings back in 2012, and what started out as a hobby and passion has slowly developed into a business which has provided many upliftment opportunities for rural areas of KZN and Eastern Cape.

The brains behind the operation, Craig Lindsay, has bred a unique breed of chicken, ideal for the African market. The Kukubro coloured broiler is a dual pupose bird which is a good layer and is also good for eating. It is a hardy chicken which has been bread to survive tough conditions and has proved to have a low mortality rate.

Our Kukubro chickens are bred and housed in Barn style housing with room to roam, because we believe that happy chickens are healthy chickens!
